Lord of The Rings - The Two Towers

Universal has been hit with another Disc problem. This time it's the Back to the Future Box Set. Apparently there's an issue with the widescreen framing for Back to The Future II & II
where " The framing appears differently (incorrectly) from the laserdisc releases for approximately two minutes during "Back to the Future II" and four minutes during "Back to the Future III. As with past problems Universal is making good on these discs by exchanging them. Send the 2 discs with your Name, Address, Phone, and the reason you're returning it to: Back to the Future DVD Returns, PO Box 224468

This week Universal unceremoniously releases
Back to the Future - The Complete Trilogy a great DVD with little support from the studio [Review]. With much more fan fare, Dreamworks launches the next Spielberg movie to hit DVD with The Minority Report [Review]. From fox comes the beloved Martin Scorsese The King of Comedy with Robert De Niro and Jerry Lewis and the Adrian Lyne thriller Unfaithful sort of a reverse 'Fatal Attraction' [Review]. Stargate: The Ultimate Edition
Artisan has announced the 3rd DVD release for Stargate - The Movie. Set for release on February 18th Stargate: The Ultimate Edition and will feature a new remastered 2.35:1 transfer (enhanced for 16x9 TVs) with Dolby Digital 5.1 EX and DTS 6.1 ES audio and feature both the original theatrical version of the film and a 'Director's Cut' (which substitutes alternate footage for some scenes and includes about 9 minutes of additional material) audio commentary with Director Roland Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin, a making-of featurette, and an “Is There a Stargate?” featurette with Chariots of the Gods author Erich von Daniken.
