No publicity is bad publicity, right? Especially when you're Ms. Famous-for-Being-Famous-and-Diddling-Dudes-in-Night-Vision. Paris Hilton's high-tone New York publicist must think so too, because they recently farmed out this Stuff magazine gaffe as grist for their House of Wax push:
What kind of preparation did you do for this role?I watched a lot of old horror movies.

I don't know. I forgot.
No doubt Ms. Hilton's impending podcast will be equally illuminating.

To be fair it was a "lot" of horror movies. Nobody could keep them straight. I have to wonder though if one of them was the original "House of Wax". Even if it wasn't it would be better than, "I don't know. I forgot."

DVD Talk columnist G. Noel Gross discovered B-movies as a youngster in the piney woods of East Texas where he spent many a Saturday afternoon glued to the TV watching flicks such as Food of the Gods, Squirm and Mako: The Jaws of Death when he should have been out doing something useful. At 33, nothing has really changed.
